                   Who can do Medical Exam
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations identify a person who can be a medical examiner by two criteria: professional licensure and scope of practice that includes performing physical examinations Medical examiner means a person who is licensed, certified, and/or registered, in accordance with applicable State laws and regulations, to perform physical examinations. The term includes, but is not limited to, doctors of medicine and osteopathy, advanced practice nurses, physician assistants and Chiropractors. 49 CFR 390.5 Definitions  In California Chiropractor can not do School Bus Exam. Note :  On the new California DOT Medical Exam form,it gives the reader that Chiropractic can not do Federal CDL exams in the State of California.     PSP is designed to assist the motor carrier industry in assessing individual operators’ crash and serious safety violation history as a pre-employment condition. Account holders pay $10 for each requested driver history. An annual subscription fee of $100 also applies for industry service providers and carriers with 100 or more power units. Carriers with fewer than 100 power units qualify for a discounted annual fee of $25 per year.
    Individuals can request a personal driving history for a fee of $10. No subscription is necessary for individual drivers.
